SALARY INFORMATION- Equipment Operator Journey 1 – $31.62
- Equipment Operator Journey 2 – $33.44
- Equipment Operator Lead/Journey 3 – $35.53
- Maintain state highways, airports, seaplane floats, bridges, and docks to ensure safe and operable conditions, including snow and ice control, pavement repair, brushing, drainage, and traffic control, such as flagging.
- Operate and maintain a variety of light and heavy equipment such as plow trucks, loaders, graders, sweepers, and specialized airport vehicles.
- Perform airport operations tasks including runway inspections, friction testing, issuing NOTAMs, and ensuring FAA certification compliance.
- Provide Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) support, including stand‑by duties, training, certification, and equipment maintenance.
- Conduct airport security and wildlife management activities in compliance with FAA, TSA, and State regulations.
