Overview
Division of Health & Rehabilitation Services, is recruiting for multiple Mental Health Clinician 2 positions to join the team at Hiland Mountain Correctional Center (HMCC), located in Eagle River, Alaska.

Responsibilities- Provide short-term, solution-focused mental health treatment to inmates in housing areas such as Acute Mental Health, Sub-Acute, Segregation or General Population, individually or in group settings.
- Respond to referrals or crisis interventions, including conducting mental status examinations, clinical interviews, suicide and risk assessments, and providing appropriate recommendations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain individualized assessments, treatment plans and release plans (as needed) for inmates.

This position is located at HMCC, a secure facility for incarcerated female offenders. You will work with a team of correctional officers, mental health clinicians and medical staff.

- Master’s degree from an accredited college in counseling, psychology, social work, child guidance, vocational rehabilitation, or a closely related field.
- Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities in:
