What You Will Be Doing:Under the supervision of the Health Program Manager 3, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and completion of program planning, budget/fiscal management, and setting effective goals for federal grants related to the State of Alaska’s response to opioid and other substance misuse.
As the Health Program Manager 2, you will assist federal award project directors to implement the federal award activities and serve as a point of contact for the Division of Behavioral Health staff who manage grants and contracts funded by federal grant programs.
This is an exciting opportunity to directly influence the alignment of behavioral health services with state and federal regulations, while driving continuous improvement in provider performance. This position is being filled in Anchorage or Juneau, depending on the location of the most qualified candidate, and is in a fast‑paced office environment.
We offer a flexible work schedule requiring just two days of work in‑person a week. A hybrid work environment offers an opportunity for designated teleworking and in‑office days.
