What You Will Be DoingAs a Public Health Nurse 2 in the Ketchikan Public Health Center, you’ll work independently to support the health and well-being of your community. This position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to:
- Conduct health assessments and develop improvement strategies
- Provide screenings, preventive care, and health education to Alaskan families
- Manage infectious disease prevention and case management, as well as so much more

The Working Environment You Can ExpectThis position is located at the Ketchikan Public Health Center, 605 Gateway Court. Ketchikan sits in the panhandle of Southeast Alaska, 90 minutes by air from Seattle.

- Valid Alaska Registered Nursing License is required at time of employment, per Alaska Nurse Practice Act:
Nursing Statutes AS 08.68, Nursing Regulations 12 AAC 44 - Valid Driver’s License at time of employment is required
