Overview

Pharmacist role at Bartlett Regional Hospital. Bartlett Regional Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. This recruitment is open until filled.

Our staff pharmacists are responsible for interpreting and evaluating provider orders for safe, rational, and cost-effective drug therapy for patients at Bartlett Regional Hospital. Pharmacists are responsible for the accuracy of drug dispensing, monitoring of drug therapy, communicating with providers involved in the care of patients, participating in assuring adherence to BRH drug use policy, and providing pharmacotherapy education and information for physicians, nurses, and patients.

The pharmacist is also responsible for clinical projects and participates in committee work as assigned.

  Pharmacy Degree (Bachelor s or Pharm
  
  D) from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice or completion of a hospital residency in a hospital setting is preferred.
• License:
  State of Alaska Pharmacist License in good standing
• Certification:
  None

Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
External Hires: This position starts at $65.02 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.

• All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to start of employment.
