The Legislative Affairs Agency's Supply Section is recruiting for a full‑time Supply Clerk. The position requires political neutrality and 40 hours per week.

- Issue and deliver office supplies to legislators and staff.
- Maintain supply shelves and storage areas.
- Perform basic maintenance on copiers and other office equipment.
- Lifts and moves office furniture as requested.
- Lift, carry, and stack paper, supplies and materials.
- Pack, move and unload state property as requested.
- Assist annual property inventory by inspecting tags and affixing new tags.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of general office equipment and office supplies.
- Ability to operate and perform light maintenance on copiers, fax machines, audio/visual equipment and office furniture.
- Ability to lift and safely move items up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical activities requiring use of arms, legs, and whole body (climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling materials).
- Ability to act courteously with legislators, staff, and the public.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with others.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Alaska driver's license with a clean driving record.

This is a fully exempt job class under AS 39.25.110(3). Positions in the Legislative Affairs Agency are required to be politically neutral.
