Social Services Program Officer
PCN 063421 – Full‑time position located in Anchorage or Juneau, Alaska. Position open to Alaska residents only. Eligibility is determined by the residency definition.
OverviewThe Office of Children's Services (OCS) is part of the Department of Family and Community Services. The SSPO oversees statewide evaluation programs, including Administrative Reviews, Case Reviews, staff and consumer surveys, and analysis of systemic factors required by federal standards. The SSPO ensures child welfare services meet state and federal quality standards by evaluating the work of social workers and supervisors through rigorous review methods.
The SSPO leads policy development, procedures, and implementation for these evaluation programs.

• Lead policy development, procedures, and implementation for evaluation programs.

Working EnvironmentAnchorage office – centrally located in Midtown. Juneau office – Goldstein Building in downtown Juneau.
