What you will be doingIn this role, you will oversee the federal grant reporting and financial analysis for core division programs. This includes federal accounting, recording, and reporting functions for the numerous federal grants and programs administered while ensuring compliance with state and federal reporting requirements, including the submission of federally mandated reports. You will implement a quarterly cost allocation process and monitor quarterly results to determine that appropriate fund sources are utilized.

Minimum QualificationsThis job class uses competency‑based minimum qualifications. Any combination of education and/or experience that provides competencies in:
- Analysis and Assessment: uses information technology in accessing, collecting, analyzing, maintaining, and disseminating data and information.
- Financial Analysis: knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques of financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to interpret quantitative and qualitative data; includes data modeling, earned value management, and evaluating key financial indicators, trends, and historical data.
- Principles of Accounting: knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, standards, and practices (for example, double entry accounting, accrual accounting), including the full accounting cycle and the preparation of worksheets, financial statements, ledgers, and journals.
