The successful candidate will bring strategic oversight into financial operations, ensuring the Division’s fiscal integrity and compliance with GAAP, GASB, and all applicable state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and certify unique financial transactions across assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenditures.
  • Lead and supervise a small, talented, skilled and close‑knit accounting team.
  • Manage and safeguard over $200 million in loan fund assets.
  • Prepare and present financial statements and reports for internal leadership and external agencies.
  • Conduct ongoing cash flow analysis and reconciliation between IRIS and LOANS, the Division’s loan servicing platform.

  • Accounting operations:
    Knowledge of general ledger accounting and the control/subsidiary account relationships and reconciliation techniques, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and disbursing officer’s accountability.

    Uses a logical, systematic, sequential approach to address problems or opportunities or manage a situation by drawing on one’s knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary.
  • Audit reporting:
    Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques used to report audit findings.
