Engineering Assistant 1/2/3 – Fairbanks
Salary InformationEngineering Assistant 1: $33.76
Engineering Assistant 2: $38.91
Engineering Assistant 3: $44.49
This position is responsible for the development and delivery of highway and airport projects from initial conception through construction. Responsibilities include collaborating with communities to identify and confirm project needs; providing design input for environmental documentation and permitting; preparing bid‑ready plans and specifications; and supporting construction activities by responding to design‑related questions.

Working EnvironmentLocation:
Fairbanks, DOT&PF complex on Peger Road. Dynamic blend of office work, field visits, and stakeholder collaboration. Intermittent travel may be required.
