Position SummaryThis position is a good opportunity for anyone who enjoys teaching middle school level Physical Education. The individual will promote an instruction and learning environment that enables each student to master the skills appropriate to age, grade level, and individual capacity.
Minimum Requirements- Valid Alaska teaching certificate with an appropriate endorsement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in education
- Master's degree in education preferred
- Experience teaching at the middle school level
- Experience or ability to work with instructional technology (highly desirable)
- Experience with team teaching, integrated content, and project‑based assessment
- Previous experience working on a team in a professional learning community
