The Federal and State Compliance Facilitator is responsible for ensuring district-wide compliance with all applicable federal and state statutes and regulations governing special education services. This position supports district administration in due process matters, develops and maintains systems of accountability, and provides leadership and technical assistance related to IDEA requirements and Section 504 implementation.

Starting Hourly Rate: Grade 7: $80,517.42 - $ DOE
Work Day: 8 hours per day
Work Year: 12 months
Bargaining Unit: Non-Represented

• Valid teaching certificate with an endorsement in special education or related services
• Master's degree in education or a related field
• Experience working in special education in a kindergarten through grade twelve setting
• Experience preparing and organizing legal exhibits for due process hearings, including participation in mediation and resolution meetings
• Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and district policies governing special education, including compliance requirements and due process procedures
• Experience with federal and state monitoring, audits, or corrective action activities in special education
• Training or experience in mediation related to special education compliance
