Court Case Manager 2 (Multiple Vacancies) Anchorage Domestic Violence
Under the supervision of the DV Supervisor, the incumbent will review filings on motions and requests and process the paperwork after determining compliance with applicable court rules, statutes, and local procedures; work cases and share a rotation of in‑courting for hearings and processing files while in court.>
In‑Courting Duties- Provides in‑court support to ensure efficient courtroom operations by setting up, organizing, and maintaining the courtroom, including operating, testing, and troubleshooting equipment.
- Prepares and organizes both paper and electronic case files for court; coordinates the movement of litigants and personnel to facilitate the orderly flow of proceedings, and accurately logs court activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintains proper courtroom decorum and completes required documentation, log notes, and records, including the handling, storage, or disposal of exhibits, and routes files and materials to appropriate offices or locations as needed.
- Processes domestic violence motions and related filings by reviewing documents for compliance with applicable statutes and court rules, ensuring all required supporting materials, signatures, and notarizations are complete.
- Communicates promptly with attorneys, agencies, and self‑represented litigants regarding any deficiencies, citing the appropriate rules or statutes.
- Provides customer service by answering phones, assisting the public at the front counter, and processing other filings as needed.
Full‑time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one‑hour lunch break.

Qualifications- Graduation from high school or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate AND one year of advanced clerical work experience equivalent to a Court Case Manager 1 with the Alaska Court System or an equivalent position with another employer.
- OR graduation from high school or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate AND completion of a two‑year paralegal curriculum from an accredited institution.
- OR a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
- Post‑secondary transcripts, if using education to meet minimum qualifications.
- Copies of your most recent (2) performance evaluations, if available.
- A list of three (3) professional references who have had supervisory authority over you along with their daytime contact phone numbers and email addresses.
