Executive Director of Teaching & Learning

Supervises:
Students

To provide instruction in the Arts curriculum helping students to develop the skills.

The employee is required to interact with staff and meet the demands of several different people. The employee is responsible for the work output of others. The employee occasionally works extended hours. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Understand and implement effective art instruction K-5.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate K-5th art curriculum concepts.
• Gather and organize student art projects for the spring art show.
• Inventory and order appropriate art supplies.
• Flexibility in working with people of all ages, different building environments and schedules.
• Willingness to work as a team member.
• Willingness to take the initiative to plan lessons with all classroom teachers.

Term of Employment:
Teacher Contract

Salary Range:
Determined by placement on teacher salary schedule.

Evaluation Frequency:
Job performance will be evaluated a minimum of 1 time per year.
