Rental Yard & Wash Bay Attendant

Bobcat of Joplin is looking for a detailed and organized Wash Bay and Rental Yard Attendant to join our growing company. If you enjoy working around construction/ag machinery, take pride in clean machines, and like the feeling of a job well done, apply today!

$18-20/hour

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment which includes washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs.
• Loading and unloading of rental attachments which includes, Proper instructions on basic operation, checking for damage on returns as needed.
• Sweeping and cleaning which includes, helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay when needed, trash disposal
• Assisting customers and store which includes, helping with all departments of the store.
• Assisting service department with duplication of customer complaint or failure.
• Additional general labor as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Sometimes exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
• One year general labor experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn our business
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 10-20 pounds
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp, or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
• Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
