Bobcat of Joplin is a full-service Bobcat Dealership specializing in new, used, and rental compact excavators, skid steer loaders, and track loaders. We offer parts as well as both mobile and shop service.

Bobcat of Joplin is looking for a detailed and organized Wash Bay and Rental Yard Attendant to join our growing company. If you enjoy working around construction / machinery, take pride in clean machines, and like the feeling of a job well done, apply today!

$18-20/hour

Responsibilities
  • Preparing equipment which includes washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs.
  • Loading and unloading of rental attachments which includes, proper instructions on basic operation, checking for damage on returns as needed.
  • Sweeping and cleaning which includes, helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay when needed, trash disposal.
  • Assisting customers and store which includes, helping with all departments of the store.
  • Assisting service department with duplication of customer complaint or failure.
  • Additional general labor as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Sometimes exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
  • One year general labor experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn our business.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Physical Requirements
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
  • Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 10-20 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp, or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl.
  • Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
