Mercy is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient care in our GI clinic under the supervision of a licensed practitioner or Registered Professional Nurse (RN).

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Coordinate care with other departments.
• Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; comparable experience and licensing considered.
• Licensure: Current LPN license in the state of employment and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Experience: New or experienced LPN acceptable.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required per unit: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., Six Assessment & Care Modules, or other unit‑specific certifications.

• IV Certification within one year of hire.

• Push, pull, or lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
