Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Cardiology

What You'll Do:
The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care across the care continuum. This care will be provided in outpatient and inpatient hospital settings. Cardiology NP will hold independent clinics in outpatient setting under the guidance and collaboration with collaborating physicians.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with the Cardiology team to conduct patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and perform physical exams.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other medical providers to develop and coordinate treatment plans.
• Perform hospital rounds on cardiology consults and follow-up patients in collaboration with the cardiologist.
• Participate in a rotating call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements:
Current Missouri Advanced Practice Nurse licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Current Missouri Physician Assistant license. Graduate of Physician assistant program accredited by the committee on Allied Health, education and accreditation of the American Medical Association.

Experience:
Previous cardiology experience is preferred.

This is a full-time, entry-level position as a Health Care Provider in Hospitals and Health Care.
