An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with oncology infusion experience to provide exceptional care at a reputable healthcare facility’s Oncology Fusion Center in Joplin, MO. This contract position offers a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule, working 5 shifts per week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 36 guaranteed hours. The role involves delivering specialized nursing care to oncology patients in both clinic and infusion settings, requiring a strong background in infusion therapy and the ability to float between units as needed.

• Administer chemotherapy and infusion treatments utilizing equipment such as Alaris pumps.
• Provide Port Access and PICC line care with competence and precision.
• Manage patient care for a high-volume clinic (up to 100 patients daily) and infusion center with 29 chairs (ratio of approximately 4 chairs per nurse).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to facility protocols including required flu vaccination compliance (November-April).
• Perform other duties as assigned, including taking call as required by the facility.

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Prior infusion experience required; chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Proficient in Port Access and PICC line care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to float between Oncology Clinic and Infusion Center.
• Professional appearance adhering to dress code: black scrubs required; t-shirts not permitted.
