Home Infusion RN - Flexible Work Schedule (Joplin Area)

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our team as per diem Home Infusion Nurses. In this rewarding role, you'll provide high-quality infusion therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. • Administer intravenous medications including IVIG, specialty biologics and other infusion treatments in patients' homes.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs before, during, and after infusion therapy.
• Insert and maintain peripheral IV lines and access central venous catheters (PICC lines, ports, midlines).
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, potential side effects, and home care instructions.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control protocols consistently.
• Manage infusion equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and individual needs.
• Travel up to 100 miles from Joplin for patient visits as needed.

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• 1 year of ICU, ER, or Infusion Nursing experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical requirements of home visits.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills.
• Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Willingness to travel within up to 100 miles.
