Schedule:
Full Time 40hrs/week
Performs primary care consistent with APRN’s specialized knowledge, judgment, skill, training and education without medical supervision or delegation as authorized by the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. The APRN will enter into and maintain a collaborative practice agreement with a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Missouri. Under such agreement, the physician delegates to the APRN authority to deliver health care services and treatments, and to administer, dispense and prescribe drugs which are specific to those clinical conditions he/she is authorized to treat.
The APRN is authorized to provide health care services that include the diagnosis and initiation of treatment for acutely or chronically ill or injured persons.
Current Missouri Advanced Practice Nurse licensure as a Nurse Practitioner according to MO State Board of Nursing.
Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
