Retag Warehouse Assistant

Overview

We are currently looking to expand our Warehouse team and need a Retag Technician. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for:

• Unboxing new product
• Checking for quality issues
• Repackaging with all parts needed for installing, instructions, etc.
• You will also assist the general warehouse team as needed.

• Picks, packs, and processes outgoing shipments in a proficient, safe, and efficient manner
• Performs quality checks and inspection of items produced. Validate that paperwork is attached and matches the product as well as visual inspection of proper packaging to prevent damage
• Cycle counts, inventory inspection and material handling of turbochargers, including loading and unloading trucks. Maintains accurate inventory levels of product and packaging material
• Visual inspection to ensure proper labelling and shipments are going to the correct destination
• Organizes and prioritizes workload, working with tight deadlines
• Data entry, processing, and reporting to Oracle systems
• Ability to meet shipping deadlines
• Completes other responsibilities as assigned to meet the needs of the business

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic computer skills. Working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
• Basic math skills
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail/vision oriented
• Ability to meet shipping deadlines
• Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime on an as needed/required basis in order to complete work in process

Some exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. This employee will be required to demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

Sitting 0%, standing/walking 100%. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel;

talk and hear.
