The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.
Position DetailsThis position is a FT Day Shift Role - Weekend Availability Required
Responsibilities- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to maintain cleanliness and infection control standards.
- Follow established procedures and regulatory requirements related to environmental services in a healthcare setting.
- Assist with waste management and basic maintenance tasks as directed.
- Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure a safe, compliant environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
Prior hospital environmental service experience. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
