Hematology/Oncology Locums Job in Missouri Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Beginning April 1 Ongoing Assignment

March 1 Ongoing
Two providers needed
Provider must have 2+ weeks of availability
Preference for providers who can offer 4 weeks/month
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days (emergency privileges available for open dates within 60 days)

Shift Details
Clinic Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Possible half-day off during the week (Monday Thursday)
Hospital call on weekends and some weekday evenings

Call Details
Call type:
Beeper; call ratio 1:3
Call response time: 15 minutes
Phone consults: 0 3 per night
Call back: 10%
Night call census: 1 2
Call is light; mostly phone calls and occasional rounding

Requirements
Board certified or board eligible
ACLS
ATLS
BLS
Fellowship preferred

Assignment Details
BMT/BMB preferred, but flexible
Primary site:
Clinic; hospital involvement mainly during call
No job-share with 3-week-on/2-week-off physician
Patients per clinic shift:
Hem/Onc vs Medical Onc split: 40/60
No acute leukemia or malignant hem
Admissions managed by hospitalists
Supervision of APPs required
Primarily Med Onc and Hem patients; consults and follow-ups
Possible bone marrow
EMR:
Epic

Support staff: 5 RNs, 5 MAs, 3 PAs/NPs, 5 office staff
