Physician - Breast Surgery in Joplin, MO

Mercy Breast Surgery is seeking a board certified or board eligible surgeon who is Breast Fellowship trained to join our practice in Joplin, MO. Practice at Mercy Hospital Joplin with an option for outreach.

Location:

Joplin, Missouri. Population and community context described below. The ideal candidate will join a 100% Breast Surgery practice with a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

• Work in a collegial environment with Medical Oncology, Breast Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Infusion Therapy, Diagnostics (PET/CT), Social Work, Nutrition, Chaplain, Dietitians, Cancer-Dedicated research RNs, Support Groups and more
• Maintain a 100% Breast Surgery practice
• No General Surgery or ER call
• Support is provided by a fully accredited Commission on Cancer program
• Plastic Surgery available for immediate reconstruction
• Very limited number of trained breast surgeons in the service area with a quick ramp-up period
• EMR is EPIC
• Opportunity to teach medical students with stipends awarded
