S&H Farm Supply, Inc. provides the following pay range.

$15.00/hr - $20.00/hr

The Service Writer will be responsible for communicating with customers, scheduling service appointments, and creating work orders for our technicians. Hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with rotating Saturdays.

• Communicate with customers to understand their service needs
• Schedule service appointments and ensure timely completion of work
• Create work orders for technicians and ensure accuracy of information
• Communicate with technicians to ensure they have all necessary information to complete the job
• Work closely with the service team to ensure all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards
• Provide estimates for service work and communicate with customers regarding pricing and time frames
• Communicate with customers throughout the service process, keeping them informed of any changes or updates
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers are satisfied with their experience
• Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
• Follow up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the service received
• Maintain accurate records of service work and customer interactions
• Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure efficient service operations
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies

• Prior experience in a service writer or customer service role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Valid driver's license
