Mid-Land Enterprises is seeking Building Superintendent to join our team in Joplin, Missouri. This position is a full-time, hourly position with great benefits!

This position will:

* Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs

* Serve as the direct liaison to the owner and all tradesman involved with project

* Set performance goals and deadlines

* Plan construction processes

* Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget

* Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback

* Monitor and report on project progress

* Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities

* Experience and clear understanding in Civil, Architectural, Structural and MEP blueprints

* Implement safety and quality guidelines

* Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance

* Keep track of material stock and orders

* Hold trades accountable and oversees terms of construction contracts

* Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly

* Resolve on-site issues and emergencies

* Holds weekly site meetings with all subcontractors onsite, schedules and coordinates manpower, equipment and material requirements

* Reporting daily work logs thru Procore software

* Doing daily quality control on all work completed by different trades

* Reporting RFI's to project manager in timely manner

Requirements and skills

* Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role

* Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites

* Knowledge of site-specific building codes

* In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes

* Proficiency in MS Office

* Procore project management software

* Organizational and time-management skills

* Ability to lead and inspire
