The Equipment Yard Coordinator is part of our Operations team and is responsible for maintaining equipment yard organization and flow, ensuring yard equipment is clean and organized, assisting with equipment inspections, and handling equipment pickup/return.
Responsibilities- Maintain equipment yard organization and flow.
- Clean returned equipment and assist in preparing equipment to rental‑ready status.
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment, prioritizing safety.
- Inspect equipment for defects/damage and determine safety for rental readiness.
- Entry‑level role with promotability.
- Equipment training.

- Minimum 18 years of age, or 21 for driving locations (clean driving record).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Above‑average communication skills (2‑way radios, phones, email).
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification.
- Strong organization skills for parts, equipment, accessories, batteries, buckets, trailers, etc.
- Accuracy and timeliness in completing duties.
- Self‑motivation to stay on track and maintain organization.
- Ability to learn and obtain certification(s) on proper equipment operation (various types of material‑handling and construction equipment).
- General laborer, forklift operator, construction hand.
- Work at branch facilities mostly outdoors with the potential of traveling to customers and branches.
- Encounter varying weather and temperatures; normal auto hazards apply.
- Frequent operation of equipment with potential hazards, requiring safety equipment and practices.
- Lift up to 100 pounds frequently; push/pull up to 100 pounds.
- Stand, walk, twist, climb, crawl, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, handle/fingering daily.
- May require driving truck to and from customer locations.
- Wear safety glasses and safety shoes; medically capable of all aspects of the job.
