Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead store talent acquisition and talent development, including but not limited to direct recruiting, partnership with recruitment team, training new team members and ongoing development plans for store associates.
  • Analyze daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to ensure all staff members are achieving desired goals.
  • Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery of eyeglasses, ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Ensure brand standards are met in the lab area, and notify management of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, incorrect lenses, etc.
Key Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or 2 years of store management experience.
  • Having a valid ABO/NCLE certification as required by state law is preferred; must be willing to earn certification within the first year of employment.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with at least three years of experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
  • Knowledgeable on talent acquisition, talent development and HR processes.
  • Consistently promotes high work standards while empowering others to have an entrepreneurial mentality.
  • Schedule flexibility; work hours will be determined based on business needs.
  • Knowledgeable about MS Word, Google Docs, etc.; optical experience is a plus.
