Trinity Rail is hiring a Career Custodian at our Jonesboro plant.

The Career Custodian position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team‑minded individual who embraces challenge. In this role, you will maintain a clean and orderly environment in a manufacturing setting by sweeping, mopping, washing, cleaning and removing trash from building and work areas. You will perform minor and routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning light fixtures, changing light bulbs, replacing necessary components, and maintaining grounds by mowing, watering, edging lawns, planting and trimming flowers, shrubs and trees, as well as any other duties that may be assigned.

You will also be expected to comply with all company safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations, maintain required records, and may be involved in safety committees or initiatives.

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Custodian experience with demonstrated proficiency in an office, manufacturing environment and/or maintenance facility preferred.
• Ability to read and write
• Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite
