DescriptionOur law practice is seeking a full-time Legal Intake Specialist to join our team at our Jonesboro location.
The right candidate should be friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented. You’ll speak with prospective clients, empathize with them on the details of their cases, and manage new client onboarding and data entry. Legal experience is not necessary, but is helpful. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Experience handling telephone calls in a fast-paced, high-call-volume work environment is preferred. The right candidate must also be comfortable working in an Office Location by themselves.

Responsibilities- Create an empathetic personal connection with potential clients to let them know we care about them and their concerns
- Determine the nature of cases and ask the appropriate questions needed for an attorney review
- Present attorneys with information needed to determine if the caller's case will be accepted, referred to another firm, or rejected
- Facilitate communication between attorneys and potential new clients
- Send and receive agreements for representation
- Provide necessary follow-up on pending intakes
- Complete referrals to other law firms
- Assist with routing calls to office staff
- Sales or customer service experience is highly valued
- Possesses outstanding communication skills and a sense of empathy
- Previous legal experience is highly valued
- Firm knowledge of spreadsheets and data management, as well as computer skills
- Solid data entry, spreadsheet management, and computer skills
