Job SummaryProvides home nursing care and patient/family education. Works independently and in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to effectively meet needs/goals of the home health patient. Develops plans of care, oversees execution of plans of care, and ensures care is provided as ordered.

Qualifications- Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arkansas.
- One (1) year nursing experience. Certified or willing to certify in OASIS a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to and communicate with the geriatric and adult populations, and to a lesser degree, pediatric populations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
- Proficient in nursing skills and documentation.
- Must be professional, self-assured, courteous, poised, and versatile.
- Must possess good organizational, communication, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Able to function independently.
- Willing to accept responsibilities, and work with other Home Health team members.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must have reliable transportation, current Arkansas driver’s license, and automobile liability insurance.

- Involves being inside and outside. Exposure to temperatures 32 degrees and less, 100 degrees or more, fumes, dust, and noise.
- Potential for exposure to environmental hazards, such as exposure to pests.
- Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
- Hearing within normal range.
- Normal/corrected eyesight with close eye work.
- Frequent sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling up to 250 pounds, carrying up to 35 pounds, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to use a variety of equipment including phone, computer, fax, and medical equipment.
- Willing/able to drive in most weather conditions.
- Willing/able to drive at night.
