Technician-Central Sterile Supply II

Cleans, decontaminates, inspects, assembles, packages, sterilizes, stores, and distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment dispensed by the department following infection control guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Manages decontamination, sterilization, distribution and storage of supplies, instruments and equipment.

  Successfully passed a nationally accredited central service exam for central service technicians and maintains a certified registered central service technical credential administered by the International Association of healthcare Central Service Material Management or the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution; OR was employed as a central service technician before January 5, 2021; OR obtains certification as listed above not later than 2 years after the date of hire.
