As a Reliability Engineer you will be part of the team, responsible for optimizing performance of installations in terms of availability, cost, safety, and efficiency. For this purpose, you develop, implement, and improve installation concepts.

• Analyzing and evaluating maintenance and downtime so that improvements can be implemented.
• Analyze and implement improvement potential to increase the reliability of (production) facilities, reduce costs and avoid expensive maintenance and/or production losses.
• Advising the Team leader regarding maintenance.
• Weekly preparation and rolling out of KPI reports within maintenance.
• Within the organization coordinating the processes in the field of maintenance and process regarding best practices, norms, and standards.
• Coordination of projects in the operation field/shopfloor.
• The establishment, management, and optimization of maintenance plans in SAP by using FMEA, RCM, RCA etc.
• Applying Failure Mode Technique by means of:
  Failure Finding Interval (FFI) and Redundancy calculations and determine PF interval.
• Drafting reliability metrics: MTBF / MTTF / MTTR / availability / λ (failure rate) etc.
• Managing technical documentation, drawings etc. for example, in Meridian.
• The preparation of annual evaluations regarding maintenance analyzes from SAP.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably Electrical, Process and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Extensive experience with and knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations as well as process automation.
• Demonstrable managerial experience.
• Experience in creating and following processes.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations in his field.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 55 000, NEN 3140, NEN 1010 etc.
• Knowledge of production and production processes (preferably in Food/Pharma)
• Knowledge of computerized systems (preferably SAP, Meridian, AutoCAD, Microsoft office, RCM).
• Knowledge of EHS.
• Motivated and strong work ethic.
• Hands‑on and a pro‑active attitude.
• Values teamwork.
• Shows initiative and has a high degree of autonomy.
