• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction.
• Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of utility electrical distribution systems in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure.

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field or a professional engineering license or a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of high voltage substations, medium or low voltage electrical distribution systems, AC/DC systems, and associated power management or SCADA tools.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams (e.g., structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, architectural).
• Experience in prefabrication/modular.
• Experience working with data center equipment and environments (e.g., switch gear, generators, transformers, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems).
• Understanding of startup/commissioning processes.

With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).

As a Data Center Services Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the field‑level implementation and operational support of Google’s rapidly expanding data centers. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning of complex Electrical distribution systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, swiftly, and with high quality. This involves managing site‑level electrical engineering issues, ensuring compliance with design standards and local regulations, supporting quality assurance, and providing technical guidance to vendor teams.

We're looking for a strong communicator and collaborator who thrives on construction sites and has experience with complex mechanical systems, ideally within mission‑critical facilities, heavy industrial, oil and gas, or semiconductor industries.
