The Youth Tour, sponsored by Craighead Electric Cooperative Corporation, is granted to two (2) high school juniors. The chosen candidates will join other candidates selected from Arkansas's 17 electric distribution cooperatives. These lucky students are granted the opportunity to spend a week in our nation's capital, visiting historic sites, touring some of our most moving memorials, browsing the campus of our nation's capital, and even visiting the Supreme Court.
Requirementsbefore Applying:
- Must be a high school junior (11th grade) during the school year.
- Be a member of Craighead Electric (The household you reside in has Craighead Electric services).
- Attend a school that is in Craighead Electric or EMPOWER's service territory.
- Must be available to attend the Youth Tour on June 13 - 19, 2026, in Washington, D.C.

Applications must be received by February 27th, 2026, to be considered. After reviewing applications, CECC will select applicants for in-person interviews to determine the winners. Interviews will take place at the Jonesboro Headquarters in March.
