Intermodal Truck Driving Specialist

• Hands on Training

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Safely operate equipment in rail yards, warehouses, and city routes
• Provide accurate ETAs, delays, and POD updates
• Handle containers, pre-puls, yard turns, and deliveries
• Maintain clean and professional truck interior/exterior
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
• Assist teammates when needed and communicate proactively

• CDL License: A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience:
  
  At least 2 years of experience in intermodal trucking or a related field.
• Safety-Minded:
  Strong commitment to following safety regulations and procedures.
• Experience with Intermodal preferred
• Local Knowledge:
  Familiarity with transport routes and regulations specific to Joliet and the Chicago Illinois area.
• Team Player:
  Ability to work well with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other drivers to ensure a seamless operation.
• Problem-Solving:
  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to handle unforeseen challenges on the road.
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and operating heavy equipment.
