The role is an emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets. When a customer has a tire-related failure, a technician is dispatched to the location to repair or change the tire. When not on service calls, technicians may assist with mounting orders, shop cleanliness, and other general duties.
Responsibilities- Respond to tire-related failures at customer locations to repair or change tires for semi-truck fleets.
- Perform roadside service as required; when there are no service calls pending, assist with mounting orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed.
- Mount orders and support shop operations as needed.
- Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, wear PPE, use tire cages, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in a mandatory on-call rotation with after-hours service calls; after-hours calls are paid at double time with a minimum of two hours per call (example: a 45-minute call yields 1 hour 15 minutes of double-time pay).

- Valid driver s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous Commercial Service Tire experience.
What skills will you learn?
- Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
- Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
- Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Compliance with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including wearing proper PPE, using tire cages, and following all safety policies and procedures.
