The Sales Assistant plays a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, maintaining vehicle readiness, and ensuring a smooth sales process for customers and the sales team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the intake process for incoming vehicles, including logging arrivals and organizing keys.
  • Inspect and assess vehicles upon arrival to document condition, basic features, mileage, and any notable issues.
  • Take high-quality photos and videos of incoming units for online listings and sales materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, vehicle status, and key tracking systems.
  • Support sales team members by preparing vehicles for customer visits, test drives, and demonstrations.
  • Assist with updating listings on marketing or sales platforms as needed.
  • Ensure lot organization and cleanliness, including vehicle placement and signage.
  • Coordinate with service, detailing, or transport teams regarding vehicle readiness or movement.
  • Provide general administrative support such as filing, documentation, and customer communication.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support sales operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in automotive, equipment sales, or a lot attendant role preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when assessing vehicles or documenting inventory.
  • Ability to take clear, professional photos and follow visual standards for online listings.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a lot environment and moving between vehicles.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with sales and operations teams.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or listing systems.
