Sales Team Lead

Our client is in search of a motivated individual who thrives on going the extra mile and providing exceptional service. They are looking to add a Sales Team Lead to their expanding team. This position will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities within the logistics industry as well as other duties outlined below.

Responsibilities
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to understand their transportation needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software.
Experience
  • Proven track record of success in business development within the logistics industry.
  • Knowledge of logistics industry trends and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
