As a Retail Sales Associate, transform store guests into loyal customers. When guests enter the store, you’re the person who guides them. As the expert on home furnishings, you create inspiration, enthusiasm, and excitement about Ashley’s products. You help our guests discover the styles that reflect their lives and help them design rooms they will love to live in. WhatYou’ll Do

- Provide outstanding service experience for every customer and guest. Maintain a welcoming, professional, visible presence at the front desk; engage with guests, ensuring they are always treated in a cordial, respectful manner representing the company’s brand image.
- Accurately and efficiently process sales orders, adhering to cash handling protocols.
- Aid customers with credit applications and financing matters as required while maintaining thorough documentation of sales transactions.
- Address customer concerns independently whenever possible.
- Aid in store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of daily checklists.
- Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including participation in bi‑annual inventory checks.
- Meet and exceed sales goals, aligning to KPIs and performance standards.
- Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience.
- Enjoy interacting with others, being outgoing, friendly, and easy to talk to.
- Convey information in a way that inspires action.
- Get excited by developing and sharing fresh ideas.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Communicate information in a motivating manner that prompts action.
- Flourish in an environment that values exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
This position pays an hourly rate of $15.00 per hour for the first two weeks of training. After an initial two‑week training period, eligible employees can earn commissions and incentives on sales, bonuses, and other weekly and monthly sales incentives based on performance, with no maximum earnings. This position is eligible to earn weekly and monthly incentives based upon sales. Incentive amounts differ based on product types and sales volume.
