Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Overview

The merchandising & stocking associate role involves ensuring members can find items on their shopping lists, moving inventory, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, and stocking shelves. The role can be physically demanding and is described as a fast-paced job that can feel like going to the gym. The pay range is provided as $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr, with actual pay based on skills and experience.

$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, guiding and supporting self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues, and promoting products and services.

Maintains facility safety according to policy by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.

Maintains sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning the area, stocking and organizing merchandise, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, identifying shrink, and securing fragile and high-shrink items.

Monitors product quality by rotation, dating, recalls, sanitation, and ensuring promotion displays are visible.

Complies with policies and ethics standards, using Open Door Policy and applying these in business processes.

Completes work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and colleagues, communicating progress, and adapting to change and feedback.

Ensures club pick-up orders are filled and staged according to policy.

Other duties may include assisting with store operations as needed.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, or work performed.
