Your tasks include setting up elegant tables, crafting delicious beverages, and serving delectable food at conventions while maintaining a clean and organized banquet area to contribute to a delightful atmosphere.

• Provides timely, friendly and courteous service.
• Introduces oneself and greets guests at assigned area - obtains entrée order when necessary and communicates appropriately.

• Obtains the food when prepared, delivers order to respective guest, observing service standard guidelines.
• Responsible for service of assigned area.
• Responsible for drink orders and proper wine serving.
• Areas assigned should be neat, clean, and organized at all times.
• Follows all established uniform guidelines and appearance standards.
• Assists in all aspects of the Food and Beverage operation when necessary.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Requires balancing and carrying large trays weighing up to 50 pounds while cleaning, organizing stock, and restocking trays.
• Works in an environment subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, depending on customer volume.
• Position requires 10% standing and 90% walking.
• Requires frequent bending, pushing, twisting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, and reaching overhead.
• Must respond to touch, speech, smell, aural, and visual cues.
• Must work in a fast‑paced environment involving constant internal and external customer contact.

• Earn between $9.00 per hour plus tips.

• The schedule may fluctuate based on the event, but you can usually find posted schedules about a month in advance, giving you plenty of time to plan and get excited.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior banquet food service experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2‑year experience as food server preferred.
• Experience carrying large trays with covers.
• Knowledge of chafing dishes, plate warmers, coffee urns and hot boxes.
• Knowledge of table service procedures and table etiquette.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
