Job Description

Sign on Bonus: $2,000 (1st $1,000 after 30 days, 2nd $1,000 after 6 months)

• Provide direct supervision to all staff nurses allocated to FGC at Joliet, including timekeeping approvals, commendations, disciplining, competencies, and performance evaluations.
• Provide direct training, education, and orientation to new staff allocated to FGC Joliet.
• Complete infection control data collection and quarterly/annual reporting.
• Process patients from assessment to discharge for medication‑assisted treatment, drug‑free treatment programming, and assess patient appropriateness for assigned clinics.
• Communicate with the HR department to coordinate and interview nurses seeking employment at the FGC Joliet clinic.
• Participate in the agency's performance improvement, infection control, and audit correction processes.
• Follow up with documentation for Pain Assessment and Nutritional Questionnaire patients.
• Be available via company‑issued mobile phone to communicate with any appropriate FGC staff, including nurses and managers after hours.
• Administer Vivitrol injections. Process patients within all Vivitrol revenue funding sources. Provide educational awareness to patients that Vivitrol is available as a third option in medication‑assisted treatment.
• Follow up with the county jail medical team to discuss patient’s dosage and relay dose requests to an FGC physician.

Monday - Friday (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM); may require some weekends.

Education and/or

Experience:

Two years' experience in a hospital or in‑patient setting preferable. Individual must possess good communication skills with basic nursing knowledge. Knowledge of substance abuse pathology preferred. Employee must have a strong knowledge of all applicable state and federal rules and regulations.

R.N. or L.P.N. licensed in the State of Illinois and certified in CPR.
