Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) to support our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
This role offers flexible scheduling with day and night shifts available. The ideal candidate is a skilled critical care nurse who can provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and closely monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, and clinical status
- Administer medications, titrate critical care drips, and manage life-support equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond to emergent situations and initiate appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
Schedule:
- PRN status
- Day and night shifts available
- Shifts scheduled based on unit needs
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Recent ICU or critical care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- AHA BLS AND ACLS
- Ability to adapt to varying patient acuity and staffing needs
