Vexitey is expanding VEXcare, our managed technology support offering for studio‑based and multi‑location franchise environments, and is seeking a skilled Support Technician with experience across IT support, professional audio systems, and commercial AV technologies. This role supports environments where audio, video, and system reliability are critical to daily operations, including fitness studios and similar client‑facing facilities. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, calm under pressure, and comfortable supporting both people and technology.
Responsibilities- Provide frontline support for VEXcare clients in a remote‑first model.
- Support studio‑based and franchise environments where uptime matters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop and user IT issues including Windows and macOS systems, email, login, printer, and peripheral issues, and basic network connectivity problems.
- Support professional audio systems including audio processors, amplifiers, speakers, mixers, microphones, and signal flow.
- Support commercial AV systems including HDMI over Ethernet style video distribution, HDMI splitters, extenders, matrix systems, displays, source devices, and video signal paths.
- Diagnose common AV issues such as no video, intermittent signal, audio dropouts, low volume, resolution or sync issues.
- Document tickets, solutions, and recurring issues clearly.
- Escalate advanced infrastructure or network issues to senior engineers when required.
- Hands‑on IT support experience at the desktop or helpdesk level.
- Experience supporting professional audio systems with a solid understanding of audio signal flow, processing, and amplification.
- Experience supporting commercial AV systems including HDMI over Ethernet or distributed video systems and HDMI signal distribution.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate clearly with non‑technical users.
- Consumer or home‑theater‑only experience is not sufficient for this role.
- MSP or managed services experience.
- Prior experience supporting fitness studios, retail environments, or franchise locations.
- Familiarity with business networking concepts and ticketing systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Competitive salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 based on experience, with the opportunity for higher compensation for candidates with strong IT and AV crossover experience.
