Position:
Coordinator, Veterinary Nursing (Part‑time)
Department:
Agricultural, Horticultural, and Veterinary Sciences;
Division:
Academic Affairs. Reports to Veterinary Nursing Manager.
The Veterinary Nursing Coordinator (VNC) functions as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician in a teaching environment. The VNC spends a substantial amount of time reviewing records and animal care, assisting students outside of class with animal care, stocking and maintaining the facility, and helping faculty with classes. Other responsibilities include oversight of students, lab assistance, inventory management, ordering, equipment maintenance and repair, and maintaining orderly facilities.
