Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC), a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization, treats and prevents substance use disorder, as well as an array of other related problems. Job Description:

$3,000 SIGN ON BONUS – 1st $1,500 after 30 days of employment; 2nd $1,500 after 6 months of employment.

• Oversee the provision of quality services and compliance, personnel, and administrative staff for residential substance use disorder programs, including halfway house and recovery home, and manage all Medicaid/MCO contracts.
• Provide direct supervision to all assigned program staff (administrative and clinical) to ensure compliance with FGC’s standards and state/federal contractual obligations.
• Ensure timely comprehensive program plans and budgets are developed and implemented in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Ensure all treatment documents, communications and record‑keeping standards are followed per FGC’s policies and procedures.
• Oversee contract deliverables (SUPR and Special Projects) of all programs, including direct monitoring and reporting statistics as required by contract, rules or regulations.
• Assist with FGC program design, marketing and performance improvement functions of all programs and newly assigned projects.
• Assist with recruitment, orientation and ongoing training of staff.
• Participate in all FGC managerial meetings and Executive Staff meetings (onsite or in Chicago/Glenview) to provide input regarding assigned programs.

Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Flexibility required based on program needs.

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of supervisory/management/program development experience in the behavioral healthcare field (required).
• Master’s degree in behavioral healthcare or a related field such as psychology, social work or counseling (preferred).
• Excellent working knowledge of program development concepts, ASAM clinical guidelines, DHS/SUPR contractual language and deliverable expectations, JCAHO/CARF guidelines, and CSAT rules, regulations and guidelines.

• IAODAPCA Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs Counselor (required).
• State of Illinois Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (preferred, not required).
