- Teen Wellness Center role at Trinity Services Inc.
The Mental Health Professional will provide direct therapeutic services to youth and families, including individual and group mental health services, and crisis intervention. This position will also work closely with the program team to develop treatment plans, provide mental health assessments, and offer support and guidance to participants. The Mental Health Professional will collaborate with the Recovery Support Specialists and Family Support Specialists to create treatment planning and other support programs for youth in the center and receive clinical supervision from a licensed clinician to ensure holistic care.
Salary$40,500–$47,500

Essential Functions- Facilitates individual therapy sessions and/or family therapy sessions.
- Develop and facilitate groups designed to support and educate youth.
- Administers and interprets assessment instruments.
- Develops treatment plan for youth/ families engaged in treatment.
- Participates in regular multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Creates appropriate referrals for youth and families psychological and psychosocial needs and follows-up to identify if services were accessed.
- Participates in clinical supervision.
- Completes intakes, verifies insurance, and manages billing.
- Monitors programmatic goals and outcomes continually adapting to meet or exceed them.
- Responsible for the timely submission of Medicaid mental health billing.
- Ensures that all documentation is accurate and upholds Trinity Services’ mission, values, and operational needs.
- Writes session notes accurately, and other requested written assignments related to the clients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability and knowledge of basic computer programs for service documentation and report writing
- Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer mídia.
- Physical activities that could be used include: driving, balancing, pulling, pushing, standing, climbing, grasping, stooping, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion.
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of mental health experience, preferably with youth and families.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and adolescent mental health.
- Crisis intervention training and experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of Illinois
