Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism and empowering families? Easterseals Joliet Region is seeking a Pediatric Social Worker/Counselor to join our compassionate, mission-driven team.
In this role, you will work directly with children and their families by providing support, education, information, and encouragement. You’ll develop and implement interventions designed to improve a child’s ability to function and enhance activities of daily living—supporting the whole family along the way.

What You’ll Do- Provide counseling and family-centered support to children with Autism and their caregivers
- Develop and carry out individualized interventions to improve functional and daily living skills
- Educate families, provide resources, and offer encouragement and advocacy
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, mission-focused environment
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Professional Counseling, or a related field
- Current LCW license required (Illinois)
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities and their families
- ABA experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a passion for family-centered care
- Starting Salary $52,000 – $65,000 annually, based on experience (DOE)
